FALL FEST
Mark your calendars! The beloved Gun Lake Fall Fest returns September 26, bringing the community together to celebrate the season. Enjoy autumn-inspired activities, delicious food, live entertainment, and creative experiences, all while supporting the incredible local businesses that make the Gun Lake area special. Check back closer to the event for the full slate of activities and get ready for a weekend of fall fun you won’t want to miss!
Confirmed Fall Fest Events
- Water’s Edge is bringing festive creativity to the Gun Lake Fall Festival with their Painted Pumpkins activity, proudly supported by United Bank. Guests can stop by their pumpkin‑painting station from 11am to 3pm, decorate a pumpkin, and take home a little piece of fall fun. The activity is FREE for all ages, making it a perfect stop for families and anyone young at heart. And inside the shop, guests will likely find a seasonal sale or two to round out the experience.
- Kids Activities at Chief Noonday Car Park, sponsored by Lynch’s Tire & Service. This event is FREE for all ages from 11am to 3pm. Come early to observe a cultural ceremony presented by the Gun Lake Tribe. Live animals, food truck, games. The Yankee Springs Fire Department will also be on-site with free cider & donuts.
- Oktoberfest at Sandbar & Grill. Make sure to stop by Sandbar to experience Oktoberfest in their outdoor Social Club (FREE admission always). Festivities include wiener dog races at 1pm, Brass Band from 2pm to 4pm sponsored by Brad Landman, realtor, and Fork in the Road food truck with German inspired menu!
- 3rd Annual Fall Crawl bar crawl. Trolley will take you around the lake between 11am and 6pm. Hop on and visit all of your favorite establishments. These area bars and restaurants have teamed up again this year for another fall crawl: Gun Lake Cocina, Sandbar, Azul Agave, Russo’s, Judd’s, Lakeside Pizza, and Bay Pointe Grille.
- In the early afternoon, make your way to Bay Pointe for a special Fall Family Photo opportunity. A professional photographer will be on-site capturing beautiful, seasonal portraits for families and friends — and it’s completely FREE. While you’re there, stop by Third Nature Brewery, who will be on-site with beer promotions and fall‑themed offerings to round out the experience.
