Mark your calendars! The beloved Gun Lake Fall Fest returns the last weekend in September, bringing the community together to celebrate the season. Enjoy autumn-inspired activities, delicious food, live entertainment, and creative experiences—all while supporting the incredible local businesses that make the Gun Lake area special. Tuesday, September 23rd  

6AM–1PM: Yankee Springs Fire Department Fall Fest Fundraiser. Join us at Southern Spoon Homestyle Breakfast for the Yankee Springs Fire Department Fall Fest Fundraiser. Tickets are $15 in advance and include a set menu of sausage egg scramble and a cornbread muffin. Proceeds support the “If we can’t find you, we can’t help you” initiative—helping first responders locate homes quickly in emergencies. Funds raised will provide green house number signs for families in need. Tickets available at the Sand Bar, Southern Spoon, Chief Noonday Car Park and Yankee Springs Fire Department.

9AM – 12PM: Falling Leaves Watercolor Class, Gun Lake Wellness 11344 W M179 Hwy. Details: Join us at Gun Lake Wellness during Fall Fest for a relaxing watercolor workshop with The Pine Lake Artist, Chris Thompson. In this beginner-friendly session, you’ll learn to paint beautiful fall leaves using simple techniques and vibrant colors. All materials are provided. Come enjoy a creative break and celebrate the season! Cost: $50

11:30AM Bay Pointe is open for lunch with fall themed food and beverage specials which continue throughout the day.

4PM – 9PM: Fall Fest Birdie Hunt (Disc Golf),  Join us at Yankee Springs Township Park Friday afternoon/evening for a fun, beginner level 9-hole round of Disc Golf – sponsored by Innova Discs and Brave Art Studios and Gallery of Allegan. Don’t know how to play? Don’t have discs? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered with discs you can borrow, and Innova Sponsored disc golfers on-site to teach you how to play “The funnest game you’ve never played!” Cost: $5 gets you a 9-hole round of disc golf, plus one raffle ticket, good for all sorts of Disc Golf items. Play multiple rounds for your best score and more chances to WIN! Top 3 players aged 10 and under win a prize! (A separate, OPTIONAL Ace Pool will be available for $1 per player/per round)


ALL funds collected from this event will be donated. 50% to Yankee Springs Fire
Department, 50% to the parents of two young area disc golfers to help with travel
expenses for the 2026-disc golf season. Yankee Springs Township Park is located at 1705 Parker Dr.

10AM – 4 PM:  Gun Lake Wellness: Celebrating Fall Fest with a perfect mix of art, relaxation, and hands-on wellness activities. Sample organic wellness teas and explore natural wellness products. Create your own personal essential oil roll-on blend and experience mini reflexology demonstrations. The Pine Lake Artist will be in residence from 1-3PM with cards, and some of her beautiful watercolor work. FREE EVENT

10 AM – 4 PM: Water’s Edge Floral and Gifts: Paint a Pumpkin (all ages) Co-sponsored with Susie’s Organization Solutions, LLC. Stop by a fun, hands-on Paint-a-Pumpkin station! Kids and adults alike can get creative decorating their own mini pumpkin to take home, no carving required. All supplies are provided, so just bring your imagination! FREE EVENT. Dip sampling from 9AM – 5PM (Extended store hours)

11AM to 11:30AM: Fall Fest Opening Ceremony – Start your Fall Fest Saturday with a powerful moment of community and tradition at the Chief Noonday Car Park.  The Gun Lake Tribe will lead an opening ceremony honoring their heritage and connection to the land. We encourage all attendees to begin their day here and experience this meaningful celebration of Native culture. It’s a beautiful way to kick off the festivities and reflect on the spirit of the season.

11AM- 4 PM: Family Friendly Fall Activities at Chief Noonday Car Park hosted & sponsored by Lynch’s Tire & Service, Petting zoo, ace painting, apple bobbing, kids’ games, tattoo station and more. Touch a Truck, Coffee and Donuts with Yankee Springs Fire Department. FREE EVENT

Bay Pointe Inn is celebrating fall with family-friendly activities and seasonal specials during both lunch and dinner and various fall themed activities throughout the day.  

11PM – 5PM: Painted Peninsula’s on Parade:  The Painted Peninsula sculptures will be on display from 11AM–4 PM during Fall Fest at Chief Noonday Car Park. Stop by to admire the artistry and place a silent auction bid on the pieces available.

At 5 PM, we’ll announce the People’s Choice Award, complete with a trophy and cash prize, and then kick off a live auction for selected works. Don’t miss your chance to take home a piece of Gun Lake artistry!

12PM–6PM:  2nd Annual Gun Lake Fall Crawl & Pin Pick-up. Celebrate with stops at eight local favorites—Bay Pointe, Lakeside Pizzeria, Judd’s Bar & Grille, Russo’s, Curley Cone, Azul Agave, Sand Bar and Gun Lake Cocina. Each location will have at least 100 fall-themed or branded pins for the first guests to arrive. Kraai Well Drilling & Water Softening is generously donating 500 lanyards so crawlers can collect pins as they go. Don’t miss this festive afternoon around the lake!

12PM–7PM: Fall Fest Fun at Sand Bar Beer Garden. Browse homemade goods at our vendor market from 12PM to 4PM, then stick around for live music from 3PM to 7PM, featuring Tom Nash and Michele Moretti of the band Brena. Music is sponsored by B&R Excavating.

As the Trolleys roll around Gun Lake for Fall Fest Saturday, make sure to swing by Tom’s Meat Market for a delicious pit stop! From 11AM to 6PM, Tom’s will be offering free food and drink samples right inside the store—perfect for fueling up while you explore the festivities.

Located conveniently next to Gun Lake Cocina (a featured stop on the Bar Crawl from 12PM to 6PM), Tom’s is your go-to spot for bold flavors, local charm, and a warm welcome. Whether you’re hopping off the trolley or strolling by, come taste what makes Tom’s a community favorite. Samples, smiles, and seasonal vibes await—don’t miss it!
